Ah… so in that scenario, maybe the ideal “yes” is actually, “Yes, let’s go sell this to my boss!”

And you’re probably right… they put those layers in place to spread the accountability around. Or maybe they just played a lot of Mario Brothers as a kid and, well, they think everyone should have to get through a certain number of levels. I dunno.
