Elegantly put. I’ve experienced mounting dread for several years about the retrograde actions against women while women were feverishly working to prove themselves in their newfound “freedom” to do, well, all of the work.

In 2016 the dread became sharp alarm, as I saw that the signal had been given for the masks to come off. I want desperately to leave the United States, and encourage my family to consider migrating to another place, but have yet to convince them.

Meanwhile, it seems the seas are withdrawing in slow motion and the ground is shaking. I do not know what the waters will bring.
