Yes! I still use them particularly to plan sermons… each card has an idea or a sentence, all of which I can then physically lay out on the floor, seeing what kind of shapes they make — which ones cluster together? How do they connect? How do they relate or call back to each other? Far superior to anything I can do in a computer.
Moreover, I am convinced that remaining connected with the slower, older processes of writing with hand and eye helps our writing and our thinking stay human.
